Welcome to Osteo 2.0 online! We are delighted to bring you this online option for anyone wanting to keep up the class over the summer or while on the move.
You will get the recordings of the series - so even if you can't attend you can watch the class back!
You should have completed at least one round of Osteo 1.0 before you start this Osteo 2.0 class and ideally the Osteo Fundamentals course online. This is for your safety and so that you feel confident and able in the class. Please go back and choose Osteo 1.0 online option if you haven't completed either of those courses.
Resistance training is the number one way to improve your health.
This class is friendly to your bones! It is not a class just for sufferers of Osteoporosis but it is a safe way for anyone with Osteoporosis or bone health concerns.
This class is for for anyone wanting to get stronger in a safe way.
You can learn to lift weights at any age.
We will use some mindful breathing practices so we are not stressed doing this class.
We will use weights which are needed for bone strength and building muscle mass. Our body is 40% muscle and muscle supports your bones. We also know now, that the more muscle you have the better your entire system will function.
We will use pilates exercises and yoga exercises too. We will use resistance bands.
We will use chairs for support.

What you will need -
To start - you will need
✅️ To put your Screen in a good position or cast onto your TV so you can see it well while watching, you could plug a laptop into the TV too - get tech support in the family or friend group if needed!
✅️A Yoga mat
✅️Plenty space around you in which to move- clear the area - don't break anything !
✅️A Chair
✅️Bands - I will follow up with a link for purchasing
✅️You will need to purchase dumbbells I recommend you buy the following pairs
2kg, 3kg, 4,kg and if you have been coming a while you can use heavier weights as required. Remember the heavier the weights the less repetitions you do!
