This is a 8 week class series - please register your interest by booking in - if we have the numbers to run a class at the Na Piarsaigh GAA Club - you will then be sent a payment link
This class is designed with bone health in mind. The exercises are safe for anyone suffering from osteoporosis or osteopenia.
We will use weights and resistance bands which are needed for bone strength and muscle building - learn to lift weight slowly and safely - this is the number one to stay strong as we age. All equipment is supplied. You bring only a yoga mat.
We will practice pilates and yoga exercises which will be safe and tailored with this condition in mind.
You will get up and down off the floor once during class or maybe not at all and we use chairs for support with this if necessary,
You will work to build and maintain muscle and strength. We want to increase body awareness and posture.
The class is designed with support and fun in mind also!
As we age it is important to maintain strength and we look forward to showing how enjoyable it can be!
