Osteoporosis & Osteopenia friendly course for 8 weeks

This class is friendly to your bones! This is a good strength training class for anyone wanting to get stronger in a safe way.

If you can't face a gym but you know you want to get strong - this class is a great starting point to learn to lift weights. 

We will use some mindful breathing practices to a relaxed learning environment.

Resistance training is the number one way to improve your health. Our body is 40% muscle, your muscle and bones health have an important relationship.

We will use weights which are needed for bone strength and building muscle mass. We will use pilates exercises and yoga postures too. We will use resistance bands.

We will practice pilates and yoga exercises which will be safe and tailored with these conditions in mind.

The class is designed with support and fun in mind also!

We will use chairs for support but we will will also be getting up and down from the mat on the floor about once per class.

Our sincere wish is for you to gain and maintain confidence and know there is so much exercise you can do regardless of age or bone health.
