Step into the magical experience of a Cacao ceremony and learn more about this gentle and beautiful plant medicine which has travelled from Guatemala to work with us and help us to become more heart centered in our every day lives.

Cacao had been described as 'the Food of the Gods' in ancient Mayan cultures and has been used for centuries in every day life and also in sacred ceremonies. Taste Chocolate in it's pure form.

This plant medicine is an entheogen which helps to expand your awareness and works to connect us with a deeper sense of self but you will remain completely in control and sober. You will usually experience a sense of elation and deep relaxation.

Cacao is high in anti oxidant properties and has many physical health benefits. It is not your ordinary Raw Cacao or Hot Chocolate and is prepared in a special way. It is high in magnesium leading to that lovely relaxed feeling. It contains Anandamide - know for it's bliss feeling properties.

It is recommended that you do not consume caffeine or dairy for some hours before drinking Cacao. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding it is safe but let us know.

Similarly if you are taking SSRI's or mood altering medicines let us know and we will work with this  and adjust your dose accordingly (and confidentially)

Practising Yoga with Cacao may help you heighten your experience of the asana ( poses) and connect with your body in a deeper way. The Yoga we will practice will be gentle and relaxing and suitable for beginners or anyone working with injuries.  This combination of Yoga and Cacao is one we know you will benefit from and come away from very relaxed and supports a deeper connection with Self. While we hold restorative poses we will do some meditative practices and journey work depending on the wishes and energy of the group in the day.
